Gary,

Bud and I had an accurate count back in September or so. We will have to
deterine what the count currently would be if we were to take this approach.
We are still looking at possiblities, so keep us in mind. I guess you would
have to ask your pattern maker whether he wishes to go to the trouble of
fashioning patterns for what is most certainly a unique box car. For that
matter, whether he has access to detailed inforamtion about all relevant parts
incuding the underframe. I am not sure if the underframe differs dramatically
from that found on a typical 1944 AAR box car.

Tom

Does anyone have an accurate count as to how many would be ordered if the model
were made?Tom Doherty and I have set up a way to do limited runs of special
orders.
If you can come up with a firm proposal I'd be happy to take a look at it and
give you a cost estimate. We have hooked up with a really fine caster and he
has done good work with the masters I have made.
