I got busy improving other turnouts this week that I had short changed when I first built them. I painted a couple of the converted AF tank cars that have been kicking around for nearly 20 years. Now I can see what more I have to do to clean them up before one more coat and decals. I also painted and set up the Irish Tracklayer power turnout motors on six of the turnouts in the Tompkins Junction interlocking, and decided to order six more to finish it off and take care of the turnouts at the other end of town where I will also put in another interlocking tower.
