Bob, Your Shabbona PD cars look great, ought to take business away from the truckers! By the way, even more interesting to me than the cars from your recent production line is the M&StL green box car. Tell me something about that: Is it an AM car?
I cranked out two of these cars using AM bodies, both of them in the series 4200 through 5398. At least, I think that was the number series, even numbers only if I recall correctly. The first one I did completely in green but learned after the fact from M&StL expert, Gene Green, that the cars had black roofs and ends as yours appears to have. Anyway, did the second one with green sides and black roof and ends. What tone/brand of green did you use for the car? I would do two more. At the time I did them I had an old bottle of Floquil Weyerhauser Green which, as far as I can determine, is no longer available.
