Hi all:
I have a problem/question about the trucks on the Budd car.  I did have 
several email exchanges with the manufacturer, but I probably wasn't 
communicating correctly and I haven't quite gotten a resolution to the 
problem.  Here it is:
I have been running some of the Budd cars (hi-rail) and one of the 
screws holding one of the trucks came out.  I have the screw, so I 
reattached the truck using the "shoulder" screw.  When I tighten the 
screw up, the truck binds and won't turn.  I didn't want to only 
partially screw the screw in since it would work itself out again.  Is 
there some type of 'loc-tite' or washer to stop the screw from going 
into the body too far so that the truck doesn't bind when I tighten the 
screw?  There appeared to be some small red stiff like material with a 
round loop on one end - did this come off the screw?  This red thin 
material wasn't any of the electrical wires for lighting.  Suggestions 
are appreciated.  (Of course, I could take one of the other trucks off, 
but I don't want to compound the problem:-) .)
