Hi Rich.....

I am not sure anyone has ever defined exactly what a "SIG kind of guy" really 
is.  Is there an optimum profile for such a person?  That is an interesting 
thought to be sure.  All I can say is that if you are interested in S scale 
modeling, then you are an ideal candidate to join the S Sig.  

We don't care what kind of guy you are.  Be whatever you want to be.  As long 
as you accept the S Sig's definition of "scale" (it is on the web site) and do 
not post off-topic messages, you will be able to keep out of trouble.  Our 
Moderator has a mean wet noodle.  (No insinuations here about Pieter or Bill!)

You might become a SIG kind of guy sooner than you think if you enjoy rubbing 
elbows with other like-minded people.  That is what all the SIGs are about.  
Birds of a feather flock together.  It ain't all that bad and you should try 
it. I know it is not the excessive cost that concerns you.  But I cannot reduce 
the price below free.
