Bob, One humorous incident about the PG car: A young railfan was standing in Oelwein, the hub of CGW operations, observing a freight train coming in or leaving. A railroad official happened to be standing just a short distance away. The young kid asked the official, "What does 'DF' painted on the car side stand for?"
The official was quick to answer, "Diesel freight". You know how officials are. I'm not sure, but I may go with the chocolate, as well, and yellow lettering, but who knows, I don't have to make a decision today.
