Jim (and others who chase real trains)

You might want to try the SPV range of maps (www.spv.co.uk/). They
have detailed railroad maps (by region), that try and show all
railroads (current and abandoned), with Interurban on some maps. I
have used them when in the USA, and Don Thompson expects me to tell
him what railroad we are crossing, when I pluck up the courage to
travel in the SHS truck!

Though they are UK based, I have seen their map books in many hobby
stores in the USA. Maybe that well known hobby store in Des Plaines
has some.

The maps are not like DeLorme, but then that doesn't show all
railroads. But a good map reader can usually work it out using both
maps.

All I need now is someone to chase real trains with - Don expects
trains to run every 5 mins - waiting is boring.

John

Ps. S scale content - you could find something that needs modelling in
S!
