This question is really off-topic for the S Scale list. The last post on 
polishing cars was probably too far off topic as well, and I wrote to you 
off-list on that one. This time I'm doing it on-list.

Purely Flyer topics belong on the S Trains list, end of story.

The rest of the list can help on this. 

If a an off-topic subject comes up in a post, do not reply to it on-list! 

If you know the answer and want to help the person, reply off list. It might 
help to also politely inform the person that need to post this on S Trains. 
There is no reason for a single off-topic post to result in a thread of many 
additional posts, either on the same topic or complaining about the off topic 
post.
