That is the antenna for the Lionel Legacy controller I believe (Legacy is Lionel's command control system). (I'm in the process of replacing TMCC with DCC and just removed this last night from my U33C...) If you need firm confirmation I can re-connect and plug the TMCC system back in to double check. But please let me know right away as the rest of TMCC & Railsounds will be removed later tonight.
