{S-Scale List} Glue or adhesive for full length AM Smooth-sided Passenger car

One of my projects requires that I reduce the length of an AM smooth sided  
passenger car.  I have made the cuts and am ready to attach the end with  
the door to the shortened coach body.  Can you recommend a glue or adhesive  
for this use?
 
Hopefully I will have this car finished to display at the Chattanooga  
convention.
