I typically just use MEK straight from Home Depot in quart cans. I
dispense an ounce or two into another smaller bottle. It is really good
at leaving the surface nearly identical to the original. But like Bill
W. mentions, keep the finger away from the joints as it flows freely!

Smooth-sided Passenger car
One of my projects requires that I reduce the length of an AM
smooth sided passenger car. I have made the cuts and am ready to
attach the end with the door to the shortened coach body. Can you
recommend a glue or adhesive for this use?
Hopefully I will have this car finished to display at the
Chattanooga convention.
