Jonathan,

I was basing my possible interest on the unknown thought that Lionel is
heading towards offering scale wheels as an option for all new releases. If
that does not happen it helps my decision greatly as I have no need for a Hi
Rail locomotive. If they offered their 2-8-2 in B&O with scale wheels I
would likely have 1.

In response to your just previous post - in the grand scheme you are
correct. It is just business as usual if MTH decides to jump into S Gauge.
But S Scalers ARE different. Because of the "family" we view many suppliers
as FAMILY. We call them friends - not like the fake Facebook friends - but
real people we have known for 20+ years. They have been invited to weddings
and parties etc many times over. The fact that they make S Gauge trains now
is secondary. Like friends and family one could easily get a protectionist
view of newcomers coming in and competing..

Thank You,
Bill Lane
