Wow, such impassioned pleas for prototype fidelity! Next thing you know folks
will be counting rivets and dismissing repainted Flyer cars! <G> Wondering
where all the prototype police were when AF made Northern Pacific PA's or
American Models made New York Central FP7's?

When will you realize you are not the target market! All of us angry old men
can't hold up the S scale market; Lionel must expand the base if they expect to
succeed and, by the way, flash and color sells. Or in the famous words of Irv
Athearn, "Well, the paint sticks to it doesn't it!" If a Warbonnet U33 gets one
new person into S scale, are you going to criticize them too?!?

My goodness., just spend your money on something else and move on. I'm firmly
in Brother Ron's camp on this one, it's all good news!

  Jim
