Gale,
Don't give in to the effete elite of S Scale and let them win. The one
thing I have noticed on this and other lists is that eventually the
fools win and chase away the people you want on the group leaving those
with nothing worthwhile to say.
Please reconsider your decision to leave if only to annoy the fools who
cause the problems.

Well rules maybe rules, but Lionel or American Flyer just became part
of the scale scene like it or not.
Several have urged the writing to Lionel about their offerings and
what they are doing wrong, should they do that they are not expressing
my views..I think it is fantastic that Lionel would offer two color
schemes for KCS engines and also offer an Alcan hopper...it is not a
new ( modern) car but a very hard car to model...I am pretty sure
there are just two in S at this time....mine and Stan S's I'm looking
forward to adding more..
I appreciate the stand that Danny, Andre and Bill have taken for the
scale and where we are;I feel the same way and I would have all ready
been off the list with a post of my feelings on the matter of the last
three days....there is a lot of knowledge on this list and a lot of
good friends many of 50 years or so. But I just don't need this..have
we ever taken a step backward this weekend....it is like we met the
enemy and it is us...alot of thought has gone into this next bit..not
leaving the hobby by any means but I am leaving this list it just
doesn't fit right now.
