Are some leaving the list because Lionel American Flyer engines and rolling stock in scale are being talked about?
Yes, American Flyer of old is not the subject on this list, as no, I would not expect a S scaler to be running Pike Master AF product, but if Lionel comes out with American Flyer scale, which is ready to roll product, I do not understand why that is not okay to talk about. Again, we all have different interest in S and in scale, as yes, many like to build things, but I am the type who would be in the market for a scale item ready to roll. Again, there is no right or wrong in the hobby of scale. We do what pleases us. SHS makes scale RTR product, and I do not see that being ban from this list. At one time AF, as AF is Lionel AF now , never had scale product, but it seems they are now putting out some scale cars, which I am interested in trying/buying. So I would not be able to write about the scale AF car when I get it, the good, the bad, and so on? Times are changing and Lionel sees a market in the scale world and that is a good thing. It will also help the other makers of S get more notice and sales in the end too. And the scale world grows more. Mike Marmer
