If you really want true synchronization, you need to use the manual chuff
feature of the Tsunami. The auto-chuff works well for certain speed ranges
(which you can set via BEMF settings), but not accross the whole range.
This is one area where I am picky so I gave up on the auto-chuff. Of course to
use manual chuff you will need to install a cam or some other means to trigger
the chuffs. BTW, I prefer the cylindrical cams from Grizzley Mountain.
