I got this E7 set on eBay from the Larry Sokol collection about 7-8 years
ago. I paid $1400.00 for the set. I have since done some work to them
including (possibly - I don't remember for sure) making the drives
bulletproof so no plastic couplings slip on shafts and added DCC - no sound.
These easily pulled a 13 car train here:

They are done as 5900 & 5901 - the Mighty PRR's first E units in DGLE and
gold stripes that are PAINTED not decals. They run well but could possibly
use some oil as they sat in a box for a few years and wheels cleaned.
Overall they are a nice set with possibly some very minor paint chips but
are stunning at 1-2 feet away.

I have 13 brass E units. My layout is now real - not a dream - and the real
layout does not need that many E Units. This is the only set I have that is
painted. You get to have a set R T R right out of the box. Selling them
might inspire me to finish some of my other sets.

All units are set to address 5900. They are placed in the same order and run
together all the time. You just hit 5900 and take them down the track
without messy consisting programming.

$1500.00 + shipping and insurance gets them. **Not a penny less**, I can
just keep them. You can see they are sitting on my layout now.

I could possibly find a cheaper A B A set to sell that are not painted R T R
etc and have a variety of some issues that I can and hopefully will fix as
some point if I don't sell them.

Please reply directly to [email protected] with your interest. Spring is
almost there & I would like to get a new tractor and air conditioner for my
new shop.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
