Pieter,
  Looked at the photo, but could not see it in detail. As Matt has posted will
most likely have to cast my own. Will have to climb up on the the car in Lemon
Grove, or in Sebastipol CA for detmentional data.
  Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill;

You need hatches from the Pacific Rail Shops reefer. I don't know of any other
modern steel hatch covers in S that would be suitable. I have an AM car someone
converted to a SFRD reefer with these hatches, it looks very good. There is a
photo in the group Photo section, album "Pieter's models".

These would be good parts to have in S. Other than taking them from a PRS
reefer kit, you could write to Ron Sebastian at Des Plaines and see if he has
any spares.

<SNIP>FYI, am looking for some Ice Hatches used on Reefer's in the mid fifties
so I can convert some AModels insulated Box Cars in to ice hatch Reefer's, like
the Am Flyer cars. Ye Old Huff & Puff made some, but think they are the old
type. These don't have to open, just want to glue them to the top of the car.
