I'm sure everyone that used ME spikes has experienced the same thing.  I went
through a search when my stash ran out.  The only thing I don't like about the
Walthers spikes is that the head is too long.  When I have a few minutes and
don't want to get too involved, I sit with a pair of nippers and cut the heads
roughly in half.  Sometimes I do it when I'm taking a break at work.  Very
relaxing if you've had a stressful day.
