Gee. I discovered that lumpy paint clogs airbrushes. I really, really,
really had to put on my thinking cap for that one! And I am a gen-u-whine
ed-u-kated per-sun. <Tongue-in-cheek> <grin>
I have tried various ways to mix this bottle of paint but the lumps are dried
paint; not the wonderful colour sludge at the bottom of the bottle. I know, I
know. Discard the bottles and purchase fresh, new bottles for every airbrush
project.
But discarding stuff rubs my grain the wrong way. There is nothing wrong with
this paint if I could filter it first. I looked at coffee filters and believe
it to be too fine. I looked at cheesecloth and decided it was too coarse.
Mixing for five minutes straight with a Badger paint mixer does wonders but not
for dried paint.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to filter Polly S so the fine pigment
gets through but the blobs do not?
