Perhaps the SHS coupler that came with the F-3 diesels will work better. It is
very short in order to clear the gear boxes. Or, the HO coupler with "ears"
that can be trimmed off to make for a narrow coupler box. Or the other style
HO coupler that has a rounded back end using a circular spring. Less stuff
sticking out the backside. Just some ideas.
Still like my lightbulb idea for Floquil. GE works well, but Sylvania is a
close second. Florescent not so great. LEDs horrible. (grin)
