Dear dastardly John,

   I have it on good authority that at least the L&N used these on their 2 bay 
hoppers as well as the 3 bay.  But it is correct that Jim King designed them 
off the 3 bay hoppers.  I also have on good authority that several prototype 
freelance railroads used them to increase profits.
