Actually, I was emphasizing the home made number decals on the number boards. 
Since all this is a work in progress, I still have a lot of work to do in many 
areas, as has been noted and I already knew. The location of the photograph is 
high on the list for scenic treatment, but since I work basically alone, these 
things take time

To make this scene, I disconnected the motor in the locomotive and used the AM 
headlight for lighting the headlight and number boards. Among the things I 
would like to improve is the standard AM headlight lense, since it is angled at 
the rear.

The number boards are standard issue AM inserts, but I painted the inside 
surfaces white to diffuse the light. The numbers are clear decal sheet printed 
with a black background, which left clear numbers.

In closing, I value Uncle Ed's candid commentary, because his layout shows that 
he has a good working knowledge of that which he speaks.
