Unless you're shipping to a business address in Canada or somewhere where a
person is available all day, please don't ship by FedEx. If there's no one
there when they first call, you got to drive out to the end of the city to pick
the bleeding parcel up and they charge a massive border handling fee.
When the postperson brings the parcel, it you're not home, it ends up a local
outlet usually a few blocks away. I can walk to mine, which is in the local
drug store. No border handling fee. It may take a few extra days, but you can
track it all the way.
cheers

Canada.....

In this day of terrorism and underwear bombs, there are many additional
security checks whenever a piece of mail crosses a border. . . . . . . . . . .
.Use FedEx -- no delays, but I do not know why. Ed L.

I just got some container kits from New Zeeland, shipped by postal service,
by air on 11 May.
