I made that mistake and have to live with it. I wanted the M&StL and the CGW
in Marshalltown. Yes, the C&NW went through as well, but the industries served
by the CGW were north of the east-west C&NW main, those served by the M&StL
largely south of the C&NW main. In fact, the idea is to feature the CGW and
allow transfer runs from and to the M&StL. Well, great idea, but I had no idea
how long it would take and still is taking. A small town like Kenyon,
Minnesota, would have been a better choice. Live and learn.
