My model railroad started at the base of the stair well in 1974. Then through the steps into a large area of the basement 8 x 14. Then we started building into the TV room, that yard is 3 x 10. Now, many years later, I'm thinking of expanding it along the front wall, as there is room for a shelf there.
Funny thing, Mary never complained about the yard in the TV room, one day it was just there, fact is she never complained about any of it. This past Sunday the Lehigh Valley S Gaugers met at my home and we held our meeting in the TV room. Pretty crowded, but no one complained. Colin Foley ran the trains.
