OK guys, don't shoot the messanger. I bring this up because I feel S-Scalers should be aware of what's going on in the outside world.
This is about new American Flyer but may have further ramifications towards S in general and there may be one or two folk here who have some interest in the new Flyer. The Lionel Collectors Club of America is trolling for interest in producing an American Flyer set. There was also a brief mention of maybe doing something with the newer scale Flyer offerings. There's two threads running on the OGR forums. What's been interesting over there is how some of the O Gaugers seem afraid that Lionel and MTH are going to abandon them all of a sudden... I am NOT a member of the LCCA, so there is nothing in this for me except given the recent developments with MTH buying SHS and Lionel's recent offerings, all of a sudden S doesn't stand for "S"tasis or "S"ecret.
