Use shapeways for producing the master pattern.  Use a poured silicone mold 
material for the wax mold.  Same for pewter. 
 No vulcanized mold method. (would crush it)

  I have some TT scale trucks that were made by shapeways and they work pretty 
well, their surface texture is a bit rough but should be ok for S scale truck 
frames, the material seems to be adequate for a bearing surface but I haven't 
run them any long distance. I think S scale fox trucks would be strong enough 
as they are not a thin delicate design. If you know how to make the shapeways 
drawings it would be an easy way to get them....DaveBranum
