There are a number of thing I do in programming a Tsunami based on my preferences. Most of it is telling Fireman Fred to "sit down and shut up". I really hate the cutesy sounds. I also don't like the automatic whistle/horn toots when stopping or starting.
Wading through the many pages of the manuals every time I needed something was time consuming so I made this "hit" list. I have not been successful in the playable whistle/horn - yet. I want to spend a bit more time on my diesel notching. I also found out the auto mute does not work like I thought and hoped it would by shutting down if not enacted on layout start up but remain live all the time once it is run. It is like a power saver, shut down all the time based on the programmed inactive loco time if you are using it or not. Oh well.. Anyway - attached is my pet peeve CVs and adjustments list I do just after the initial basic addressing programming. Yours may vary but you can revise it. Next I will add my sound volume values so they are reasonable for my layout area but this is a start. I am putting it is a sheet protector and hanging it up downstairs. I hope the attachment makes it through to the list. If not and you want it please reply directly & I will send it.
