Bill is right, my shop vac was used often. You get to the point, especially when sitting on the floor that you end up tracking all those cuttings around the room.

I will mention that I purchased a battery powered multi-tool. It's one of those things you put one of several saw blades or sanding disks on and it sort of wiggles back and forth. What a life-saver. After awhile the 7" circular saw and the sabre saws are way too large. Hand tools still work but my joints don't, so this was a great tool to have.

I'm closing shop in a few minutes, so I can catch up with my mowing and then back to wiring and the soldering gun.

The theory about expansion is that--"all space will be filled with layout--it's just a matter of time". I really do admire those guys who can save room for the couch, frig and TV when the guys come over.

Hi Bob and all --and rail could be put in. If he is like me, he kept the vacuum pretty busy with the dust from the process... Anyhow, I hope to have the area fully ready to use by the end of next week. We’ll see.... In the meantime, I had a brain shower that I could expand the layout in the future by adding a peninsula into the middle of the room once I no longer need the space for my work table. This peninsula will hold another mine for the narrow gauge to service.
I hope everyone had a fun 4th and is keeping cool!
