I am just about finished thinning my roster of models that I won't be using....
Years ago, I bought an S scale estate that included an Oriental Ltd. brass (
phase V ) NW-2 painted for a home road scheme. The phase V NW-2, is the phase
without the flat notch in front of the cab wall. I model the CNR, and although
they rostered lots of NW-2s, they did not have any phase Vs.
If I can't sell or trade this model, then I will change ( brass bash the hood
myself ) but I would much rather swap the model for any of the other phases of
NW-2s that Oriental produced.
The body, frame, and trucks, have all been stripped of all of the old paint,
and then sandblasted ready for primer and paint - I am prepared to prime and
paint the frame ( not the walkways ) and the trucks in the color of your choice
to sweeten the deal.
As an outright sale, I would like $350.00 cdn. or U$ for the model - for that
price I will pay the postage and insurance to anywhere in Canada or the lower
48 states.
As a trade, I would like to trade straight up for any other version of
Oriental's NW-2s, or perhaps as partial payment a W.A. Drake GS gondola...or
NASG tankcar(s).
