Hi Bill; A possible future option would be to cast just the brackets, with holes in the front face cored for appropriate wire. Then the end user could bend the wire part to make grabs of any desired width. You would probably want pins on each leg of each bracket, instead of the offset pins on the PRS parts.

The “car” that started this grab iron blitz is a PRR boxcar I am fixing up. Right from a real PRR drawing there are some that are 25 ¾” center to center. That is longer than most I have seen.
