May I ask, Ed, just what you mean when you say "operation?" What part of the operation of Kadee couplers is it that you like? Is it the way they stay centered all the time? Is it the way they can automatically uncouple over a magnet imbedded under the track? Is it the abundance of slack action in both the nuckle AND the shank? Or is it something else that I have not thought of?
I am NOT challenging you... I am just genuinely curious what you like so much about them. And I want to know so I can do some my own comparisons along your lines of thought. Personally, I don't think any coupler can match the Kadee brand in operation. Other S couplers might, some day, excel in the cosmetic department, but that day has not yet arrived. It will come eventually, I'm sure. Kadee is steadily improving the appearance factors of their own couplers and so the degree of improvement might not be as great next year as it is today. Just musing....Ed L.
