Yes, indeed, the NC Transportation Museum at Spencer owns ex-BC&G Consolidation 
#4.  I had the thrill of riding in the cab during a BC&G weekend-long reunion 
that we organized at the museum back in 1995.  Unfortunately, the engine was 
disassembled a couple of years ago to undergo a major renovation, parts were 
distributed around the country for work and then funds ran out.  The locomotive 
is now for sale, basically as a 1:1 scale "kit"!
