Yes, I have actually been to see his layout in its present form. It is very
inspiring in that less is certainly more.
Last Sunday, Trevor drove Chris and I down to a memorial to a great modeller,
Rich Chrylser, who just passed away.
On the way, I brought up the difficulties in modelling Park Head with is large
wye. Actually any wye takes up a lot of space, especially ig the minimum
radius is 50". I mentionned Inglewood and all agreed it would be a great
place. Already, Trevor has generously provided me with information sources and
has offered to help plan and build a layout. Didn't have to think twice about
that one.
He just had an article published in the CN Lines Newsletter about how to model
Port Rowen in S scale. It graciously lists the local manufacturers and friends
who helped him decide to go to S.
Trevor is a great guy and a great modeller.
cheers,
