Jack,

How great to have a Southern Railway expert attend the NASG Convention! I
hope you are able to attend. Please look for me. I will have a booth but
still hope to attend most of the clinics. I really want to meet you in
person after benefiting so many times from your contributions on the Southern
Railway Yahoo Group.

I will have S scale E8s on display in the Southern Crescent scheme that
will eventually pull full length stainless cars that Bob Hogan will exhibit
during his clinic. I have seen three of the cars and they are beautiful.
The cars names and numbers are all ones you will recognize. Names like
Crescent Moon, Johnson City, French Broad River, Royal Palm. There are seven
cars in total though a couple of them will only be partially built for use
in Bob's clinic..

I think you will see some other Southern models at the convention too.

I look forward to seeing YOU and the CHOO CHOO!

2. As Clinic Coordinator: There have been two more clinics added for
Friday
morning. Bob McCarthy will explain his new line of freight car kits at
10am and
John Degnan will build a Fast Tracks turnout (with some coaching) at 11.
John
has promised not mention couplers during the entire process. Any bets?

I was thinking about driving up to Chattanooga for the day on Friday to
attend
the seminars, visit the vendor room, and get to meet some people. Am I
right
that I can pay a $20 one day registration fee plus $25 for being a
non-member.
In lieu of the non-member fee, can I use the $25 to join NASG on the spot?
If I
remember right the layout tours are another $15. Are those drive yourself
or is
it by bus with capacity limited?

I appreciate any information.
