I had the opportunity to see some turnouts built with FastTracks jigs over the
last few days at the convention... and I am very impressed with them. I had
two of my P:64 wheel-equipped SHS box cars with me and they operated flawlessly
on the FastTracks turnouts... not a single derailment (except one that was
caused by a minor flaw we found and corrected with a file on one turnout).

Of course, these P:64 wheels operating so well on turnouts built to common
standards broke ALL the rules and should NOT have worked... but it did. Go
figure. They also worked near-flawlessly on the NASG switching layout, but
'wheel-drop' was very obvious when crossing the frog... yet still there was no
derailments.

Several club members are using the Fast-Track system to make their turnouts.
They're happy with the results. I'd eventually like to try them.
