Thanks guys for all the kind words. I'm trying to show that S has a lot
of versatility. Now you have to reach way back in the modeling archives
of your brain and remember how you once did things. This is what I've
done, mixing a little of the new with a lot of the old. I've been
putting these photos on the Scotty Mason Show Facebook page as well
http://www.facebook.com/groups/53404768126/
This is giving S scale some new exposure that I hope will attract a few
new modelers to the scale. They have even used one of my messages to
Scotty Mason himself about S scale as a topic for one of the shows.

I am hoping to be a guest on not only this show, but the Model Railcast
Show http://www.modelrailcast.com/ and the The Model Railway Show
http://themodelrailwayshow.com/
The Model Railway Show is hosted by Trevor Marshall and him and the
other host actually model in S scale. So this is my short term goal.
To get the word out about S and hopefully get some new manufacturers to
get into S. The scale desperately needs some new detail parts
manufacturing geared toward the contemporary modeler. I will keep
updating my progress on the GP20 and thanks again for all the kind words.

I've got about a third of a foot in the Milwaukee camp. I purchased
two of Chuck's Milwaukee Alco RS-3s at the Duluth convention. I've
also been held back because I was focusing on layout building and
have been afraid of real kitbashing and painting. Now the railroad is
in the process of being scrapped because we are moving and I've taken
a tentative step into kitbashing with my (stalled) attempt to convert
a Lionel autorack to S.
I changed course when SSA came out with the coal porters and have
taken on more of a modern-to-contemporary interest along with a
little squinting to make it seem more so. Now Lionel comes out with
both a u-boat in Milwaukee and a modern SD in BNSF. What's a guy
supposed to do? Take out a payday loan?
I had a plan that I could run a dual era layout. Or I could imagine
that Milwaukee never bit the dust. It goes with the squinting thing.
