A long time ago i did a project for the GSC truck. I've been working on redoing
that truck in two different versions.

VERSION I:
consists of 8 castings. The side frames swivel for equalization just like some
of the old ACE trucks and others did. The sideframe and bolster will be
designed so you can use either shouldered axles or taper axles, Old miller
axles, ACE axles, or SHS tapered axles, NWSL tapered axles that PRS used in
there boxcar kits, You may need to file the area of the bolster to narrow it
for some of these, notably the SHS axle which is shorter over all that the
others. No soldering is required, but a small amount of filing is. The castings
will come machined.

VERSION II

This is what you see in my album if you look. I did a test assembly of my
first parts out of the moulds. These are a complete, totally independent
sprung axle like on the prototype GSC truck Each journal box moves on it's
own. they were sprung to respond to the light weight of PRS boxcars. They
consist of a kit of a few casting sprues but a total of over 32 parts. NO
SOLDERING is required.

Some of these trucks used a single shock absorber attached in the middle of
each side frame. Version one will have a VERISON IA that will include the
castings for this, again NO SOLDERING required.

VERSION II will have a operating two piece shock absorber. This is needed if
you want the drop bar to operate correctly. NO SOLDERING required

I also am working on the Roller bearing version of this truck. These were used
on the SP and I have no idea what other railroads. I'm so busy I don't have the
time to do all of that type of research!.

This truck is NOT the PRR version. That truck will come along in time.

NONE of them will come with wheel sets.

I need to do more tests before I mention price. They have to be right, they
have to work, or they go to the garbage can.

I was informed that S scale was dead in the water.
