I'm in the process of hatching an idea and wanted to get an idea, roughly, how
much it would cost to have someone paint either one, or a pair of American
Models F-40PH's. Also, if I could get some recommendations regarding the best,
AFFORDABLE locomotive painters, that would be good also.

Since my first module is going to be situated in Galt, Ontario, Canada,
en-route Alaska, I figured I'd need at least one Canadian loco and thought that
a GO Transit F-40PH similar to the one in the link below would be interesting;

As for the other one, I'm also thinking about creating a custom passenger
railroad named `Taggart Transcontinental', inspired by a railroad of the same
name in the book Atlas Shrugged. I'm thinking that this engine will be black,
with the TT logo, in gold, on the nose, three silver striped gunning
horizontally around the engine, and the name `Taggart Transcontinental' on the
side in gold, above the stripes.

I HAVE NOT purchased an F-40PH yet, or taken any other steps in furtherance of
this project because I first wanted to get an idea how much the painting would
cost as I assume this would be a significant part of the project cost.
