Tom,

The flat cats I saw were three hauling an Oil Refinery cracking tower, but they appeared to regular flats. Seems they also had one on display among some rebuilt
Flyer car. Other than that I do not remeber anything else.

Iron Rail Models has a new flatcar? I was there, even purchased a few items from Iron Rail but never noticed a new product. I also missed, much to my regret, seeing and speaking with Andy Mallot, although I saw the items he is offering. This was the first convention I attended since the one at Strongville, so everything overwhelmed me a bit.

. . . . . . . . We produce the S scale AAR flat car on which they go. It is a complete kit which we will add trucks and GRANDT AB brakes to the kit if ordered.

That's interesting. I presume this is a different car from the new flatcar Iron Rail Models showed us at Chattanooga.
