Here's some of cars MTH has done in O that they COULD do in S that wouldn't
duplicate what's out there in plastic recently or involved in the SHS purchase:
40' PS-1 boxcar
R50B express reefer
55 ton steel drop bottom gondola
2-bay Centerflow covered hopper
100 ton cylindrical covered hopper
50' Waffle side boxcar
Coil car w/remvovable hoods
UP CA-1 caboose
PRR N-5c caboose
PRR N-8 caboose
ATSF style ACF caboose
USRA style caboose
There's probably more, but it's what I could come up quickly browsing through a
couple of catalogs.
Meanwhile, there's a couple of cars on the Lionel side that wouldn't be bad in
S either:
Also has a 40' PS-1 boxcar
Also has a USRA style caboose
60' PS boxcar (single and double door)
57' mechanical reefer
40' arch roof wood milk car
B&O I-12 caboose
UP CA-4 caboose
GATX Tank Train tank car
There's more, some that come close to or duplicating AM or SSA products
currently available.
