As a full time manufacturer, I agree with your perspective completely. If I didn't agree with you, I wouldn't have produced the highly successful B&O wagontop box which had been done in brass many moons ago. That car tied for my best-selling car kit and I know for a fact that several of my customers OWNED at least 1 of the brass imports yet bought my kit. Go figure. I don't let "what used to be" taint my "what's gonna be" product line. There's always for new and improved items in any market; S scale is no different.
