Bill, Thanks for the well wishes for Jack. I will pass it on to him when I see him today or tomorrow. He is very disappointed that he cannot attend. He told his doctor that he needed to be home on Saturday. Obviously that did not go over.
Our meeting is the last Sunday of every month. We change it to Saturday for this meeting to allow for travel. When we started, September was the only open month we had and your show was on a different weekend. Only a couple years were we in conflict. We publish our dates a year in advance. When we tried to avoid a conflict, we were told your show is based on an away pro football schedule. I don't believe we are pulling any one away. Normally we only get 5 8 people. We actually expect 10 this year. Maybe more guests than members this time due to member conflicts and disinterest. We'll see.
