Not considering the legality for a moment: A person should be able to opt
out of having his/her address and phone number, email, etc., included in the
directory. Giving a person that option is IMHO, just an old-fashioned common
courtesy.

I applaud the attempt to replace the print directory with something related
to modeling regardless of the quality issues, which can be easily corrected.
What I am disappointed about is the elimination of the online member
directory, which I found to be quite useful. Here's hoping it returns in a
form as helpful as the old one.

Whether the membership list is in the Dispatch or on the NASG website, how
does it
violate one¹s privacy if the person agrees to have it published? If they
don¹t want it
published, so state in the annual membership form. KISS! Am I missing
something here? I personally don¹t have any qualms about my address and
phone number being published, but I can understand there are those who
don¹t. A simple case in point being the local telephone directory. Are
those listed liable for legal action? If so, what has our legal system come
to? Don¹t bother to tell me, I already know! Take a look at Congress and
our court system.
