The KINSMAN plans seem to be generic, a sort of taking the average of what a SS 
car looked like.  Thus, adjustments are required if one wishes to model a 
particular prototype, and that's what I want to do.  Two prototypes that come 
to mind are the M&StL 24000-series SS box cars and the SOO LINE sawtooth cars.  
I think both can be done using the KINSMAN kits.  Someone mentioned that the 
kits are labor intensive. Yes, that is probably the reason that I still have 
not undertaken them.  I intend to though.  Thanks to all for their insights, 
comments, and suggestions.
