Hi everyone.  The string below is FYI.  Never go up against Trevor Marshall
when it comes to model railroad trivia.

Thanks Dave.

Our shows are already prerecorded, but will see if we can open one of them up
to get you some publicity.  We can certainly find room on our website to
publicize your final open houses.  Good luck.

Jim

Hi Jim

Thanks for
your note.    Yes, certainly it is challenging times for us.
We have a few leads on a new location and are hopeful but I am sure you
can understand the enormity of having to dismantle 5000 sqft of layout and then
to rebuild.   So much of the invested time in the layout will be
permanently lost.    Check out our Facebook page for some pics of the
layout.   You'll see what I mean.

Rick Green was a member
of our group at one time.  He has since moved to the Hamilton area, about
60km west of Toronto and is no longer directly involved, but we remain in
contact.   Rick is a very skilled modeler and was always fun to have
around... was a good "member" and not surprisingly always had a good joke or
two.

Would appreciate any publicitiy and
spreading the word about our last series of Shows scheduled for Dec 29, 30, and
Feb 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18.   All proceeds will be applied to the costs of
moving and rebuilding.     Toronto is a great city to visit and we are
in the downtown core (hence the reason our building is being demolised to make
way for MORE condos).

Best Regards

We've been having a discussion about your club on the Yahoo S Scale Group.
S is O Scale Lite.   We all wish you luck in finding a new home.
Of course the question came up regarding which Red Green cast member
belongs to the Toronto Model Railroad club.  It comes down to two names.
Patrick McKenna or Rick Green.  It's not an argument yet...just a
quest for correct info.  Hope one of you can help without breaking any club
privacy rules.
