Thanks for the reply. I have not ruled out writing an article. But I have
long been told by many that the most successful articles are of broad
interest and useful information to other scales as well. But your trains
"just happen to be S Scale". If your case it just shines the light on S
Scale because of your layout. I don't see a tie in to other scales here
other than the very remote chance that someone else wants to make 5495 to
5499. I surely don't see anyone else EVER wanting to start with an Omnicon
K4 and doing what I did to it. I have so many custom parts on it, it would
be almost impossible to do anyway.

 

This is how I feel about writing an article right now. Things can sometimes
change..
