Don,

They would have to be slightly less than  .053 dia and RED. I am not stuck to 
using 1.5v bulbs. I am moving towards using LED when possible for their 
longevity. This will be a locomotive I do not want to take apart for bulb 
maintenance.  If you can remember this suppler I would check it out.

I have a bunch of surface mount LED from Richmond I thought would work but they 
do not fit the lighting tubes I made.
