All: Agree about Bill's green machine -- I have a much smaller red machine but feel the same way -- machining any day is a good day. I will be looking into the NWSL puller, but I have an alternative for you who have a Sensipress or drake bench press that works just fine. It's called a V plate (also from NWSL). Cut a piece of square aluminum column or similar for a stand off for the V plate larger than the driver diameter and make sure it is square to the vertical column. This process is explained in the Rooney Bin file of the S group in the PDF entitled "New shoes for 617". Be sure to scribe the axle-crankpin centers (just for sure fitting in case you pull to far and need to repress). Back the driver off only a few thousands wider. Check gauge constantly with wheel gauge. The V plate method will tend to assure a square push in this case. Chris
