All:
Agree about Bill's green machine -- I have a much smaller red machine 
but feel the same way -- machining any day is a good day.
I will be looking into the NWSL puller, but I have an alternative for 
you who have a Sensipress or drake bench press that works just fine.
It's called a V plate (also from NWSL). Cut a piece of square aluminum 
column or similar for a stand off for the V plate larger than the driver 
diameter and make sure it is square to the vertical column.
This process is explained in the Rooney Bin file of the S group in the 
PDF entitled "New shoes for 617". Be sure to scribe the axle-crankpin 
centers (just for sure fitting in case you pull to far and need to 
repress).   Back the driver off only a few thousands wider. Check gauge 
constantly with wheel gauge.
The V plate method will tend to assure a square push in this case.
